RIP Adrienne Roy (1953-2010) If you were reading DC comics in the 1980s, Adrienne Roy was the colorist for all the top titles, especially the Wolfman/Perez ones and the Bat titles. They even worked her (and the rest of the creative team) into Donna Troy’s wedding special in Tales of the New Teen Titans #50. And this is sorta how I pictured her as this stately gracious lady. To read the Comicsbeat obit, though, she sounded every bit as colorful in her hair and tattoos and personality. She was one of the names I thought of when I thought of women working in comics that I noticed when I was younger.
